Our caterpillars have changed!

Foundation Stage have been watching some caterpillars go through changes!

After five wonderful weeks of watching tiny eggs turn into hungry caterpillars and then cocoons, they have finally turned into beautiful painted lady butterflies.

The children released the butterflies into the wild so that they may continue the wonderful life cycle.

We have thoroughly enjoyed watching the process of the growth, changes and development and learnt first hand about the wonderful world around us.
